You Can Help Seuss in Springfield Celebrate Learning as FUN

The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum (est. 2017) and the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden (est. 2002) are exciting places to celebrate Dr. Seuss! People of all ages from all over the world have traveled to Springfield to honor the legacy of Theodor Seuss Geisel, aka Dr. Seuss, in his home town. The Springfield Museums continue to expand our celebrations of Ted Geisel by adding new programming and spaces for Seussian exploration–including our annual Dr. Seuss Birthday Party, a Wild and Wacky Seussian Science Festival, and Grinchmas. We are also currently renovating Ted’s childhood home, 74 Fairfield Street, as an innovation center and house museum. The Springfield Museums’ focus on making learning fun, recognizing the intelligence of children, and exploring ideas in new ways is in keeping with Ted’s legacy as the author/illustrator who revolutionized learning to read by making it FUN!

How you can help: Please donate to our Seuss in Springfield campaign to help our staff continue to add new and exciting interactive programming and exhibits in honor of Dr. Seuss.

For more information on the campaign, contact the development office at 413.263.6800, ext. 461.
